I downloaded and played your pack, it's very appreciable to see somebody thoroughly making stuff by himself but I think you need a lot of improvement on whatever department you're trying to be independent.
Also I don't know if you tried to step for keyboard or for pad but I assume it was for pad.
I don't think you should try to immediately take care of every single aspect of creation when it comes to Stepmania and carefully refine your skills one at a time. Remember quality is more important than quantity.
If you want your packs to be played, I think it's necessary to think first about improving in chart-making, your sims feel very random and unpolished and it seems you lack settled methods.
Your gfx weren't that good too, and I think it should be better to just set it aside and let people help you with it while improving your competence in the matter. Remember to ask people for criticism before releasing it when you can't tell if it's actually good all by yourself, judging the quality of your own production is something that asks experience and skills and it's something perfectly okay when you're new at creating stuffs.
You have to focus on one field at a time, even for somebody that knows how to pull out decent gfx, simfiles and musics, it'd be very tough to release a 100% top quality pack like you did with themes and stuff, it takes a lot of time and thinking.
That's what I'd advise you, at least. I want you to continue making contents for Stepmania, but you have to improve a lot in the meantime.Statistics: Posted by Scylaax — Sat Jul 05, 2014 10:34 am
