Actually , I played etterna before , But after some time , I chose playing stepmania . because the hit judgement in etterna is a little strange .
Maybe I need to set up a server by myself if I want to muilt play in stepmania

I try to connect to "stepmaniaonline.net" , "208.113.130.86" or "http://stepmaniaonline.net" , but none of they can connect.
Are there any problems with the server or just my Network?

I tried downloading Stepmania 5.0 but I cannot use it even though I have linux because my system is 32-bit not 64-bit.
I feel sorry for the users who don't want to spend money on a brand new computer just to use stepmania online again. I mean people should be able to have fun without throwing computers out every year.

So someone mentioned the user account for stepmania online isn't connected with the forum and all that, and I also don't see the registration link on the main page anymore. All I see are the packs available to download. No high scores or anything anymore available online :(
Funny thing is I can access this forum with the same username and password as my online stepmaniaonline game account.
So I guess the only way to register then is through the client?

A few months ago when I loaded stepmaniaonline.net in my browser, I can see member scores and detailed charts of my scores as well as news and downloads. It looked like a full site.
Now today all I see are a list of files I could download. No ability to login, no ability to see scores or anything.
What happened to the site?
P.S. Also when I last logged into stepmaniaonline through stepmania 4, It told me the last date the server was updated was in 1970. Odd.

song packs i downloaded are 5k starter package, 012's easy package, community keyboard package
i unziped the file folder put all the song folders in the stepmania folder in the song folder in the installerdirectory
directory/songs/stepmania 5/song folders with song files in them
but the songs dont get picked up in my game
