First of all, in regards to your scores, you can post them in in the future. It is the designated place to show off the results you are proud of. I notice however in your video you don't display the results screen, which is the most important part (since it shows not only your grade, but your percentage and amount of each judgement hit). This can be done within StepMania by pressing the 'Print Screen' key located on your keyboard. Videos are nice, but you can also simply post a screenshot of the results (which is what typically is seen from people showing off scores). As for how good it is, I'm not too sure how to answer that. Generally speaking, StepMania is a game about self improvement more than anything considering the nature of it, so if this is a score that currently highlights how well you can play, then it is a good score for you. I wouldn't worry too much about it being a bad score to someone else, just see that as motivation to practice more and improve what is a good score for you personally. There is a huge skill climb to undertake if you choose to though, and believe me some people have really taken it to the extreme!
1) SMO has two ranking systems, which are as follows:
- EXP ranking: Playing songs which record to the server will give you exp or experience points. The amount you get is based on the number of arrows you hit, but additional exp can be obtained by playing well (through toasties or FC's). This is the rank shown on the left of the SMO homepage, and what will show next to your name while on SMO if you have less than 10 characters in your username. This is mainly a reflection of how much you have played, as opposed to how skillful you are.
- Individual song leaderboards: Every song you play which the server records will be ranked along with everyone else who also played the file. You will be able to see where you stand globally on a particular file once you exit the results screen, and can use the site itself to see detailed statistics. An example of this would be , a song you played online. This ranking is determined by percentage, so it is entirely skill based. These ranks hold no influence on anything aside from displaying your name closer to the top on a given song page, so they are purely for improvement / bragging rights.
2) If you are asking if you can modify how StepMania looks, you absolutely can! They are called themes, and they can completely alter the look and feel of the game depending on what you pick. You will have to find something which is compatible with your version of StepMania however, but finding themes is basically just a Google search away (e.g. StepMania [your version here] themes).
3) Considering that I see your name, and that you've played a few songs, I'll imagine that this question has been answered for you. Yes, you can play online, this is StepMania online after all. Since you're newer I'll direct you to some information though to help you get started.
- Packs: To play with others on SMO, packs are essentially a necessity. Check out for a list of major pack releases for various styles. If you play 4k KB, packs listed as "keyboard" are where you should look (also packs with a blue star (★) contain several files with multiple charted difficulties for beginners and players that aren't quite as adept in skill.)

- You were using an XMod (1x, 2x, 3x, etc) in your video. You should consider switching over to CMods (C100, C200, C300, etc) instead as they make reading charts significantly easier. CMods make it so that the chart always scrolls at the same speed, and doesn't stop or do any other kind of jittery surprise. Find a speed that feels comfortable to you, and be aware you may want to change it as you improve.
- While online there are commands available to you to use. Type in /help to see a list of them, some of which are only available when you are a room owner or operator. The most typical commands you will probably use are /free (allows everyone to pick songs), /secret (hides your room from the lobby so you can play alone without cluttering up the room list), and /commonpacks (lists packs which are common between joined players). If you add new packs, be sure to run /scan to add them to the list (in your own private room please). Though not every pack is able to be scanned for, it is useful for a few hundred of the more major packs that are downloaded.
