I think a new version of OpenSMO with MySQL should be released for all operating systems. Why? Because MySQL works better than SQLite. Also, there are lots of bug fixes and performance and stability improvements. The only question is, why hasn't there been a new release in a long while?

Note: StepMania 5 and future versions don't have stepmania.ini. Instead, they have preferences.ini, which can be found in your user's appdata folder on Windows. Also, some of the options in that file are different.

The server still freezes even after the migration to MySQL, therefore, it's still too unstable. I think that there's a bug within the server side, but no one can figure it out.
