Re: Working visuals for rolls in some SM5 noteskins (Midare+
Kind of answered . Maybe next weekend I'll have a closer look at the files, the midi noteskin should be pretty similar.

Working visuals for rolls in some SM5 noteskins (Midare++)?
I just recently learned to love the Midare++ noteskin (from jousway.co.uk) over wafles' great Delta adaptation. But the rolls are not built in as they didn't exist in some of the older SM versions. It's really annoying to play files where there are many many very short rolls instead of just the sing...

Re: Good but slow files to train jumpstreams and mixes
Oh, I hope you didn't waste too much time searching for tutorials in that direction. I actually tried all the different "styles" (overhead, distant, and so on) out of curiosity earlier and by chance stuck with distant anyway^^ I then modified it to be 125% distant even, but I'm back to the...

Re: Good but slow files to train jumpstreams and mixes
Oh, I should have mentioned that maybe
I play spread, so all of the above applies to hands instead of jumps as well.

Good but slow files to train jumpstreams and mixes
As I'm slowly progressing towards more difficult files, I have a big problem with jumpstreams and especially mixes of single notes with jumps/hands in streams (don't know what those are called). While it seems like every hard(er) file has those anyway, like 95% of them are way too hard and fast. Whi...

Find out what rate a score/record was recorded at
I'm currently having a small problem. I'm still relatively new to Stepmania and thus not really good at it yet. Hence I often play files on lower rates, but I don't want the score to be recorded when I do this. I should add: currently I use 3.95 CVS with Staiain's theme (so I don't have the option t...
