I had these settings: Windows XP, Fullscreen, No vsync, 640x480, OpenGL, and I got 25 fps on the main menu. It's crap. I used the same settings but used d3d, and got 45 fps on the main menu, but the fps sucks everywhere else other than the main menu no matter what video render I use. :( I will test ...

How do I run SM 3.95 or SM 5 beta 1 with OpenGL and d3d? I don't understand that stuff, honestly. I should be able to get atleast 50 fps during online gameplay on SMO if it does work, because I get below 10 fps when editing a chart in sm 5. I'm sorry to be asking this, but is the judge timing removal already done? I am asking if the timing for lower judges is finally removed like voted for.

If the original arrows are upside down, it means that the file is not found or something like that. Go to your noteskins, change the folder "Orbular" to "default". I don't really see a reason why you would do it though. As for the 12-character limit, you can't do anything about ...

I thought option 2 was good for xp boosting, but as I read Cube's post above, it would be a super mess.

I keep v-sync on to avoid tearing. But I switched to SM 3.95 and it doesn't do that on 3.95. Sm 5.0 is in beta state, but there should be a stepmania 5.0 alpha 4 next year before the summer that can fix out all the bugs. It was stepmania 5 itself in a beta state.
