I think this will never be implemented but why not ask since its just a suggestion but it would be kool if players that join a room and lack a certain song they can just click that song in the client and it will redirect them to the web page so they can download it and reload the song then play it. ...

This is a client based issue and can't be resolved from smo. But it seems that the stepmania developers know of the issue already so in some time they will likely fix it. As for challenging yourself you can still use smo's percentage grading system. For example on this song that you played 4 times....

Is stepmania 5 beta 1a score mess up or what because I just did a full combo song and 4773 is my score with AA. Or is it different scoring system from stepmania 3.95 and 4?
