[PAD] High-speed Happiness Vol.3 [Happy Hardcore mini-pack]
I got around to finishing another batch again c: 10 hardcore tunes to get your stomp on. http://i.imgur.com/huTqHJw.png For those wondering about the bizarre illustration: this time we decided to mess around a little and Mimi brought out Copy-OK-chan's (the series' mascotte) masculine side. In respo...

Hey, it's kind of a shame if you'd drop all the work you've put into this just because you lost your editor program. Just wanted you to know that if you're still motivated to work on this pack, there is actually an alternative program you can try called ArrowVortex. It's being actively developed by ...

Re: First time using DDR pad - tutoring for a true noob
I'll try to help you get started, it's always a bit tough to do this through text and images but if there's any part where you get stuck following my instructions or there's a term that you're not familiar with, just let me know. I'll assume you're using the latest stable release of StepMania (5.0.1...

Aaaa thank you so much, means a lot to me to hear you've gone and done that! Yeah, I am unfortunately not that advanced of a player yet, which reflects in my work as I try to refrain from writing charts that are too far beyond my own ability. Hopefully as time goes on, my skills will increase and so...

Re: Where are my options on OpenITG?
Since OpenITG is mainly supposed to be for use in cabinets, you'll naturally have less options than for example in StepMania. You should be able to change your key mappings \OpenITG\Data\Keymaps.ini (if it's still that way in whatever version of OpenITG you have. I have beta 2 here but you seem to b...

[PAD] High-speed Happiness Vol.2 [Happy Hardcore mini-pack]
Okay that was way sooner than I had expected. Mostly due to the fact that Vol.1 was actually on-hold for a long time due to external factors, so in the mean time I could continue working on Vol.2. Once again, speedy uplifting music, almost all happycore. One file contains special effects, compatible...

This is pretty hype, I've seen a little preview of the new search engine that is tied to this new scanning feature. Looking promising! Keep up the good work guys

Re: My pack is ready!
I think packs could somewhat be seen as music albums. We have artist/original compilation albums, i.e. packs with original content that is exclusive to that pack where the creator was involved, and then there's mainstream compilation albums i.e. packs made by a third party that consist of various si...

Re: Some questions~
a) This is not osu! Asking about a possible retry function is nothing out of the ordinary if you ask me, I pretty much don't know anything about Osu! but I do think a retry feature wouldn't be that bad of a thing in StepMania. Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, there is none. Not in the default the...

Re: Musicpacks for Dance Mats with all difficults?
Yeah it's not quite nightcore, but there's a couple of hardcore songs in there that I figured might somewhat appeal to you since you mentioned Pika Girl as well ^^;; Ah another note, playable songs for StepMania are not referred to as 'maps'. Generally, the files that make up a playable SM song are ...

Re: Musicpacks for Dance Mats with all difficults?
StepMania is merely a rhythm game software that -can- be used to simulate dancing games. This means there's no reason for some files to go beyond the intention of being danced on. The simfiles (playable songs) can be anything the creator wants it to be. Many simfiles for StepMania are specifically d...

UK/Happy Hardcore packs for pad?
Posed this question on the SM forums as well but I figured it wouldn't hurt putting it here too, considering not everyone here checks the SM forums. And there's a reasonable amount of activity here. Being a huge lover of UK Hardcore / Happy Hardcore, I've been wondering whether there's ever been any...

Re: Small Audio problem when creating simfiles (SM5 b4a)
It sounds like a VBR MP3 problem from what you describe (not 100% certain though), but the fact that it worked fine on beta 3 is kind of strange if this is the case.
If your audio file happens to be MP3, have you checked whether it isn't VBR by any chance?
