Stepmania Online

For some reason when I'm in a room and change my options to a specific set, when I press exit, the entire program crashes, but this only occurs during online play.
The options I'm using are: Mirror, backwards, shuffle, cement mixer, and mines off.
Everything else is left at default and only these options combination seems to crash SM.

Try omitting one at a time, and see if that works. If it dies the one omitted is the problem.

I've tried that, but it doesn't crash if any one of them is omitted and only crashes if all of them are selected.

That's weird. Sorry, I'm not a programmer, so that's all I had. Have to wait till cube or hou get in here.

Can you provide your crashlog?

The forums won't let me attach it. It says it doesn't support uploading .txt files. I tried zipping it, but then it complains "Could not upload attachment to ./files/586_07fbaadb65a05ee18c2385dff07eadab."

That is the basic SM log. When it crashes you don't get a crashlog?

What mods did you select? I will try to reproduce.

I don't get a crash log. The dialog box pops up with a button to show the crash log, but the button doesn't work. Nothing happens when I click it.

The mods I select are mirror, backwards, shuffle, cement mixer, and mines off. Everything else is set to default. Omitting any of those mods and it won't crash. And it only crashes in SMO, not standard SM sessions.

For now just don't play with those options

You forgot about the "mines off" option. It doesn't crash for me unless that's also selected in combination with the other modifiers.

Mines off is irrelefant, I tried multiple builds.

Hmm, I just tried again. It doesn't crash for me unless mines is set to anything but "on."

I actually tried also to reproduce this crash. Surprisingly enough it didn't crash the first time I did it. But once I added a speed mod to it, then it crashed (that's probably where the "no mines" came from).

The issue you're having seems to be related to http://ssc.ajworld.net/sm-ssc/bugtracke ... php?id=641 . They still haven't solved this problem since SM 5.0 Preview 4 it seems. I have the same issue. It only happens if you select more than 4 modifiers or options and hit enter. I think this is a problem within StepMania itself and not OpenSMO.
