They work fine on SM5, but I can't seem to get them playing on SM 3.9. I'm thinking it could be a codec problem but I've looked around online and I'm finding it difficult to get a straight answer.
Any help, as always, is appreciated. Thanks.

All I could really find that might help is this excerpt from the manual:
"Many video AVIs will require the DivX codec for playback. If you haven't yet downloaded DivX, you can get it from http://www.divx.com"
Though you mentioned it worked for SM5, so you may already have the necessary software required. If this doesn't fix it, it probably just is an unsupported codec, and if that is the case, SM 3.9 is outdated and will not be fixed to accommodate said issues. Though, you could always convert those video files to another format, such as mpg, with an app like .
