Hello All, I'm new and need desperate help.

Hello everyone!
I finally installed StepMania 5 on my computer. Everything works fine. Just took me 3 hours Literally. I'm not very computer tech savvy.

I'm having problems hitting the arrows. Like usually when I play DDR on xbox360/Wii I was taught to stand on one arrow and kinda pin point around to the other arrows but for some reason I can only be on one arrow at a time for Step Mania 5 and its killing my scores drastically. I have no idea how to switch it or anything. It took my just another hour to figure out how to set all the controls up. Thank the lord I found out.

Please if anyone knows anything it would be so helpful!

If this doesn't work, you may have to ask the developers. I am not an expert with pads sorry. You can ask on their forums here or ask on their IRC.

edit: If getting a new pad isn't a problem, I recommend this pad. I use it and it works great on USB. I have not tested it on gaming consoles but, I assume it works well.

Thanks! But that still didn't help. I heard online that xbox 360 USBs and PS3 USBs just don't "work" with StepMania. I'm hoping its false. Anyways though if anyone else sees this. I'm still in need of help!

Your going to have to get a PC Pad from or your going to have to build yourself one like . The computer thinks it is a regular controller try before you try the above recommendations.
