Ok I'm playing Gangnam Style on Stepmania 5 and there's this speeding green arrow on the game. Do I have to use a gamepad for it?

And I'm using Windows 7 PC version

That there is a roll. When you hit it, you have to rapidly keep tapping it as long as its body lasts.
Roughly tapping at twice the speed of the BPM should be able to keep it from dropping.
