Stepmania Online

Hi everybody,

I'm new here. And i have a little problem.

I play on stepmania v5.0 beta 1a on mac. And in order to progress i would like go faster than c450 like c600 or something.

But i can't find the file speedmod.txt anywhere. On the data folder i have a "gameprefs" and userprefs" folders.

So how to do ? i'm lost.

Well if it's not possible, it's not dramatical i still can play

If you're on Windows, the %appdata% folder is hidden by default.
If you turn on visibility for hidden files/folder/drives in Windows Explorer's folder options, you should be able to find it in your user folder.

So how does the speedmod work for the servers. I added some x and cmods for the game but I can't seem to get those mods to work online. I play from my flash drive cuz my laptop 1. doesn't have enough space left for a 11GB folder. and 2. has been stricken with the blue screen cuz of the cracked screen couldn't take it anymore. So any ideas on how to fix the mods for online.

Speedmods are a client setting. If they work in offline mode, there should be no problem online.

What sm version are you using?

To get to the menu where you change your speed modifier you click up inside of a room where you can select a song.
