I was a freshman in high school when a friend got me into DDR, so I guess I would have been 14. That was in 2004. I started playing Stepmania in 2005 on the recommendation of the same friend.

Mm... I believe I was... 10-12? When my bro invited me over to a friends house and he showed me the game. I took an instant liking to DDR. (it was DDR max 1 i believe. PS2.) I didn't actually play it on the pad because I was a newbie. I liked to play on the controller. After a while, I decided to buy the game/pad and I enjoyed it ever since than. As for stepmania, it was a few years before I found out about that. Although, I plays FFR before that i believe... But yeah...

I started playing DDR summer of 2004 and Stepmania fall of 2004. I was 19. I played a lot until 2007, but I've just played intermittently since then.
