Stepmania Online

By the time I joined this SMO, there were some really good indexers, like MrLargus and kiolzs. There's Calvie aswell, and a bunch of others. But it seems like index is dying, because I haven't seen Largus and kiolzs in a long time, Calvie's almost switched to spread and every player that has suitable packs for index and that is good seems to play spread.
I know there are a lot of elite indexers out there on Youtube, but I haven't seen any in here :( (only Franko).
I made this thread to know who plays index here in SMO, and which packs do you have and whatsoever, because the main reason I joined was to play with some indexers too and compete, because that's when I hit my best.

Index died off ages ago, almost no one by comparison plays it. One hand might be more popular honestly

I'm pretty good at index, but I primarily play spread. I'll grab some of the more popular index packs and play with you if I see you around, but I just play spread more because while I find index fun occasionally, it's just not all that fun for me to seriously play.

Don't worry Guilherme, I still play index a lot! In fact, my index MA has gone up a fair bit (still not exactly brilliant), and I'm trying to work on my speed some more... I'm just overwhelmed with the amount of spread packs to choose from (and I enjoy watching myself progress) whilst my index playing.. it's kinda sticking at one level.
But no way in hell would I even swap index for spread! Index is my forte :3

As I said in another post, I just don't see how people play index. I gave it a few attempts and overall, I just can't hit anything. I am actually better one handed than index... Seriously... However, I do respect index players. I may not be able to do it but that's doesn't mean it should be no longer used/practiced. I will try it once in a while but, I don't think my skill with index could improve anymore than it currently is. Spread is SO much easier. One handed feels more natural to me as well. (direction keys) The only other index player that I know of would be owen although... he's in the trolls group.

Although, if I were to play... DDR I would think I would have little/no trouble playing index. However, I just can't do streams/jumps too well with index. Maybe I just have not found a key setup that is right for me on index? *shrugs* Anyway, I gtg. Keep up the awesome skill of index though. :)

Was just talking to Arch0wl and he said index is at its peak now, but its still dying.

I play very well, Four Finger/Index Style ! but i always play Pump It Up mode :3!. IM Here lol!. xD

I've considered starting up again. I don't really care much about playing for competition though. It's all just for fun.

AA'd Vertex GAMMA index, they are ridiculous. Not sure if they play SMO though, but I suppose you could convince them or something.
