Stepmania Online

Hi all, Im new here, got some question... I've buyed mechanical keyboard /w Cherry MX Black, and reads some opinion that's not was good option for SM its it really true?

I've been playing rhythm games since 2007, no matter the keyboard I had. I never bought one "optimized" for stepmania or whatever and I can play expert song in hard packs. If you're a beginner, I don't think you should worry about the keyboard you're using. Think about it if you're still playing in two or three months.

Any keyboard can work for stepmania. It comes down to your personal preferences.

I personally like low profile keyboards, those like what you would find on a laptop. Low profile mechanical should have the longest life, I would assume.
