Stepmania Online

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask. I have two generic Wii/PS2/Xbox dance pads that have the Xbox end modded to USB that use to work... I admittedly haven't used them in at least a year and I won't bore you with my computer woes. Anyway I tried to use them on my computer here that is currently running Windows 7 using XBCD and yes I've assigned the driver in test mode using a few guides I found. Problem is after all that it registers that there is indeed a controller plugged in but the controller still does nothing in either of the places to test it. Oh and I did run XBCD and that other program to assign the driver as administrator. I kinda know what I'm doing but I seem to have hit a wall. Anyone have any ideas? I really wanna play my Stepmania again now that everything else is working. =(
