SMO Team Co-op Tournament [CONCLUDED]

Welcome to SMO Team Co-op tournament. I'm Misterkister, the host of the previous tournament, SMO Points tournament, and I'm here to explain how this tournament should go. If you want to sign up to this tournament, please post in this topic at least once for you to be registered and confirmed to participate. It is estimated that the tournament will last for 3 weeks. The submission/joining session will start on Monday, August 3rd, 2015 at 5AM GMT (12AM CST). The estimate duration for the submission/joing session will last for 4 weeks, with the final day to sign up is on Monday, August 31st, 2015 at 4:59AM GMT (11:59 CST).

Tournament has started. Start capturing songs and I'll keep track of the scores.
The tournament will start on Monday, September 14th, 2015 at 5AM GMT (12AM CST). The tournament will end on Monday, October 5th at 4:59AM GMT (11:59PM CST).

[Tip] Just in case people don't really know how to snapshot their score.

-On your evaluation screen, hit Print Screen (Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3 on Mac) to take snapshots. The snapshots will go depending on what SM cilent you're using.
-If you're using SM 3.95, the location of your snapshots is in your Screenshots folder that is in your StepMania 3.95 folder.
-If you're using SM 5.0, then location of your snapshots is here:
C:\Users\(Your username)\AppData\Roaming\StepMania 5\Screenshots
-You can also use programs like HyperSnap or Paint.

Score Submission
There are multiple ways you can submit your scores.
1. Submit a snapshot of your score to this email: smopointstournament@gmail.com
2. Get in contact with me on Skype (My username is misterk1217)

4. Post the scores here in the topic forum.
5. PM me in the SMO forum.
Choose one option you think may best help you.
Standard Rules
-Please use your main account for this tournament.
-You will be placed randomly in teams depending on how many people participating in the tournaments.
-Pick the division tier based on what type of files you normally play. (Example: If you mainly play spread files, then go with spread tier.)
-Judge 4 is preferred in this tournament because I want this process to run smooth. You can use higher judge if you want since the online converts to J4 score.
-If there are songs that seem difficult for you to pass, it is suggested that you have FailOff option with you.
-People needs to be online for their scores to count.
-Any styles are allowed to play the files in your division. (Example: You can use spread key layouts on index files.)
-People are allowed to update their scores and replace snapshots.
-Playing alone is allowed.
-If there's more than one people in the team playing the same song, then all of the people in that team need to submit their scores to have their points settled.
Note: It's recommend for people who have prior experience playing online to participate the tournament. Don't join this tournament if you never play online before.
Anyone is welcome. (Pros, Semi-Pro, Intermediate, Noobs, etc.)
Objective
The team that captures the most songs wins the tournament.
Points Grading System
Marvelous/Flawless: (Number of notes you got) x 2
Perfect: (Number of notes you got) x 1
Great: (Number of notes you got) x 0.5
Good: (Number of notes you got) x 0
Boo: (Number of notes you got) x -1
Miss: (Number of notes you got) x -2
OK: (Number of notes you got) x 1
Note: It's not going to matter much with NGs because of the way theme show the scores in the evaluation.
To calculate the points, use this example. This is how you capture a song. This calculation can be done if you submit the scores.
The more people participating in playing the same song, the more chance of sealing the capture.
Example: (800 Points from Person 1 on same team + 1000 Points from Person 2 on same team = 1800 Points)
Tactic: You can steal the song other team captured to claim that song. For example:
This is just a stupid rule, I'm going to have omit the rule because I don't think I can carry this out well.

Allowed Mods:
Speed: You can use any speed, whether it's Cmod, Xmod, Mmod, etc.
Rate: Use it at your own risk. The score system doesn't give bonus points to rated scores.
Noteskin: Any noteskins will work.
Acceleration: Allowed, but I'm sure people won't use it.
Effects: Allowed although like acceleration, people probably won't use it.
Appearance: Allowed like acceleration/effects. Some people use Hidden, so it's fine.
Turn: Allowed. Some people may or may not want Mirror, but whatever suits you to do well for the tournament.
Insert: Keep it at default.
Remove: Keep it at default.
Scroll: Any scrolls are allowed.
Holds: Keep it at default.
Mines: You can have it on or off. Mines are not really taken consideration for this tournament.
Attacks: I'm guaranteed people won't use it. Use it at your own risk.
Autoplay: Please have it default (off). You're definitely going to play in the tournament, not spectate.
Hide: Allowed. Like Hidden, Dark/Blind/Cover are acceptable to use.
Screen Filter: Allowed. Use it if background is distracting for you to concentrate.
Protiming: It's allowed, but some themes may not have it implemented. Plus, it's only useful if you want to see your specific timing.
Steps: It's disabled by default, but people in the tournament needs to be in the same chart.
Clap: Allowed. You can use Clap if it's helpful for your timing.

Possible song packs that may take place in the tournament. The song packs will vary depending on what division you are in.
This song lists will also be used to keep track who captured the songs.

Range Difficulty: 10 to 15.

Range Difficulty: 15 to 28.
[Spread Tier]
Comment: A revised song list. I got so lazy with managing song difficulties.
[Dump Tier]
Range: Doesn't matter, it's hard. Just practice up and do your best.
Conclusion for this tournament
Since the penalty rule has been omitted, this is how this tournament will end. After the result has been settled, here's how the score will be recalculated.
The team score will be recalculated with this formula:
[Songs Captured * (The number of people participated) = Final score]
This is pretty much a simple rule that will stay until I get a better explanation for this.
