Stepmania Online

like the title said we are making a stepmania online theme, but we need your help!
because atm the theme looks like this



and as you can see its pretty bland, this is where you guys come in!
submit a design and who knows maybe your design will become the theme!

so please create idea and submit them to me in this forum


also if you have any ideas of stuff that have to be added to the theme please tell me and I'll add them

Wait... Is this going to be part of default/fallback's theme in SM5 or is this just a side project?

If part of SM5: My layout in my theme is decent. (Not functional the way i want it because I am waiting for an online screens update...)



If side project: Keep the screens organized please. (More specifically, the user list...) The current one has everything all over the place... :(

Here, I did a title screen concept. If you like it, I can do more screens some other time!

I like how this logo that was made a million years ago by a mod at smo.com is still being used.

Since literally no one else seems to be making suggestions or putting forth mockups on SM or FFR I guess I'll keep going. Going to try a results screen next, then probably the song select. Thankfully I got some input from a couple of people on IRC about my title screen, I'll tinker with that once I make more mockups however.

Like for real Jousway can make this happen, it's actually worth putting out some ideas if you are interested.

*shrugs* I will at least attempt to make a concept/layout for this theme specifically... Here is my idea... Sorry, I am just keeping it simple. Feel free to do it however you want though... I do like that bg from foxfire though.

I like the focus on the chat log. I think that is important. Also using OptionList for selecting mods for net play would be neat.

Oh boy, I got into making this results screen. It differs a bit from the style of my title concept, tried some suggestions from criticisms of that in this. It might need tweaking of course, please leave feedback if you have anything!


Some notes:
- The first screen is what will show when playing in single player mode
- The second screen is displayed when connected to SMO (preferably with at least one other member in your room).
- "Add to favorites" will allow you to favorite a file. Doing so will make such a file stand out in the song wheel, and will also put it within a special favorite group. Button can be accessed by pressing left or right, favorite action can be carried out with enter (and dedicated key bind if possible).
- "Difficulty" is the chart difficulty (e.g. Easy) as opposed to step difficulty (e.g. 14)
- Graph has multiple functions, displaying a life over time overlaying on an NPS over time line.
- In addition to max combo, duration a user held an AAAA and AAA will also display (shown in marv and perf colors). Max combo may or may not join with these depending on the situation, and is great green by default.
- Top scores listed will be on a per rate basis if possible (1.0x yields 1.0x scores, 1.4x gives 1.4x scores).
- Clock ticks in real time
- Time played refers to in-game time, not idle time.
