New to Step Mania couple of questions

Hey all, I'm sort of new to step mania (played a lot of DDR/Stepmania 10+ years ago) and just getting back into things. I went a little crazy on downloading song packs and what not recently and have encountered a problem.

My question is, is there a way (either a theme that allows it or some sort of mod) to tag songs to be hidden or marked on a "favorites" list or something? I essentially want to be able to filter out all the songs that are keyboard specific or just not fun for me (I'm a pad player exclusively). And I REALLY don't want to have to manage the files outside of the UI.

I can't be the only one who wants this feature, so I assume there is some solution out there for it. If it helps, my current theme is Simply Love.

why not just download pad packs only. that way, you wont have the keyboard songs and all of your songs will be pad

Well, there are some hybrid packs as well. And even in pad only packs there are some songs that just aren't fun or have other issues that I'd like to get rid of easily.

There is currently a feature request for it but no progress has been made yet. Honestly, I think you should just manage it on the computer. It's not that hard to do. Make a directory like... "keyboard_files" and put them in there. It's what I do. Works just fine.
