I could use some input on the date for this thing. I am not sure if I can be ready by this Saturday but, I will try if I can... The next Saturday I am sure I will be busy. Any Saturday after that I should be fine. (as far as I know.)

Anyone has a suggestion on a date, were thinking about the 14th of march so we can give time to practice before the tourney

I had managed to get the message to SMOC. I can predict some people from that group want to join your tournament if the time arrangement is set up properly because 5PM or 10PM EST isn't going to work. (That's 3AM or 8AM in the morning for people from Korea/Japan)

I may not be fluent in my native language, but someone mention how wide the time difference is between region in Asia compare to the region in U.S. (If I interpreted correctly)

Furthermore, in my perspective, there might be an issue with setting the time because in Korea, people might play in the afternoon (while it's overnight in U.S, some at night [while it's morning in U.S]). So putting a lot of people all at once might be difficult because people play at different times.

So my question is, can you be bit more specific with the time zone note? Or get some people who are willing to monitor the tournament if you're not available?

And yes, there are people that still need to be in agreement of when the first tourney round start.

I can help with the monitoring if I find the time to do so.

Meh, this is why I hate timezones... Uhh... If we do it this way, this would require multiple days for the tournament Mr.K... Everyone has to play the same song and someone gets knocked out. This would work but, I kind of wanted it to happen all at once... Changing it now would completely ruin what we already have. (No offense to other places around the world or anything.)

Just to clarify what you are saying; we would have this time zone play, wait for the other time zones to play, and eliminate a player daily and repeat. (We have no other way that I see of doing it besides something like this in that case.)

I honestly do not know what to do/say Mr.K. I seriously did not intend to do a daily updated tournament. It was meant to happen in 1 day and that was it.

Edit: If this is a problem, may I suggest making a separate tournament Mr.K? (Could you host it? If you don't mind. We could collaborate together on it. What do you say?) Two brackets. One for Our Time Zone and The other for the Opposite Time Zone. If you want, you can have your own rules or the same as these. Just a thought though. If Mr.K accepts this offer, please let me know if you wish to transfer brackets.

What is SMOC, The slots for the tournament is almost filled up, most of the people in American or Spanish regions. I don't think we're will be a separate tournament for it.

I don't know how many people from that community are interested in this, so I might have to disregard my effort to convince some people to this tournament.

As for brackets, sure there's more than 30 people participating in this tournament, but how many people do you want to be in the room? I know the max in the room is 32, but when you mention brackets, it be could be 1v1, 2v2 or so forth. Please specify what you mean by brackets.

I really don't think having a separate tournament based of this current tournament is necessary, though.
