Well, i think it's possible, but this might take a long time to make it happen.

At the moment, player 2 is disabled online. SMO's server that is. (Unless that was changed without my knowledge.) Perhaps in the future, it will be added back in. (Most likely when SM6 comes out.) For now, no it's not doable online.
