[Won't Implement] Huge Suggestion

So this idea is going to involve a lot of things, but I think if it were to be implemented that it would bring a lot of server activity. This suggestion is going to involve three major points.

1. Simfile Uploading
2. Point Currency
3. Automated Power User status


1. For the simfile uploading I think that each user should have a page that shows all of their simfiles with various stats. There isn't really a place at the moment for the stepmania community to upload single files in an organized fashion so I think this could help. I was thinking something like this, but if anyone has a better looking idea then feel free to make a layout and post it.

2. I would really like to see some form of spendable points on the site. The points would come from exp by playing songs. You would have as many points to spend as you have ever gained exp, except obviously spending points would decrease that amount. The part I am stuck on is what can we offer to buy with points. If anyone has any really awesome ideas please share them.

I would also like to see points be tradeable between users.

- Downloading Simpacks (25,000 points?)
- Uploading personal simfiles (10,000 points?)
- Custom in game user color (500,000 points?)
- Vote up Simfile (1000 points?)

3. There should be some automated trigger for becoming a power user. I am not sure what the requirements would be, but I would like to have this implemented for dedicated members in order to help with various things on the site. Perhaps other features in the future. I was thinking of having it be a power user feature to vote for simfiles and then make a top 20 simfiles list on the left margin of the mainpage.

My dream would be that everytime a user chooses a song that the others don't have, it would download it to the "songs" folder of those people (create a pack matching the name of the original owner and after a while, everyone would have the same songs)

Okay, I know this might be impossible but the feature I'm talking of in my previous post can actually prevent people from being kicked for no reason...

I don't mind having to leave a room because I don't have a song, but rather than "no explanation kick" I prefer "go download that pack kick". And btw, coming from a mod, it's not really cool to show that kind of behaviour.

If I joined SMO in the first place, it was to play with other people rather than alone.
