I posted in that same thread lol. MY name was @@ but that was giving me errors with their forums so I use the name symbols now.

The issue is when you start a game it stops counting.

From what I can gather looking at the thread over the last few days, it seems the problem lies withing having games in true full screen mode. Since I don't play SM in true full screen, I'm going to test this out (mainly because I want to see my upload and download totals tracked). I kept a 1.7.1 install just in case things go wrong.

EDIT: Yes, this is correct. If you can deal with a windowed SM, WP will record everything no problem.

Someone suggested that in the WP thread but my stepmania craps itself if I play windowed mode. I'll just wait for an update of WP anyway I think my download and upload are tracked correctly though.

If you didn't catch it, 2.0.1 was released, and claims to have fixed the issues with full screen gaming. If you are still on 2.0 and play full screen games, you should This would also be a great time to upgrade from 1.7.1 to WP 2, considering it is quite awesome aside from that bug it had originally.

I joined a bit ago and joined the Stepmania Team. Maybe I should see if I can get my sister to join the team since she has an account here and has played a little but the big thing is she has 90 million keystrokes =P

I have <1 million key strokes but after a couple days I took the #1 position in upload amount and I am currently 3rd in download (after enough time I will likely be first in download as well). Now that I am first in upload I doubt anyone will get in front of me again.

Oh yeah, I suppose a few servers would give you some leeway with uploading and downloading lol. Also thanks to your sister for adding so many more keys to SMO's total count!
