Thanks Jousway, this is some helpful information.

I am currently converting every single 3.95 theme I can find to have Network Screen Support for SMO use. Most people still use a 3.95 variant.

Hey I would like to know if it's possible to easily change the judgement "skin" of a theme in SM5 ?

I mean, I want the ITG judgement (with the -Excellent and Excellent- to know if I'm early or late on the timing) but the ITG3 theme is a WiP and nothing much works

If it's built in the theme, is there another theme you know of that has the same kind of judgements ? Thanks for your help

Edit: nevermind, I just replaced the lua and the graphics of PlayerJudgement barbaric mode and it worked haha

Edit 2: Now I'm looking for a way to have the percentage and / or the song progress (a theme with that or tweaks to the default one). I actually have no way to now where I am in the song and not having the percentage is pretty disturbing =/ any ideas ?

You should be able to take that out of the moonlight theme. Pretty sure it's there.

It's too bad I lost all my old noteskins... I was experimenting with 3.9 noteskins and I see why the changes were made to noteskins. (note timing images was annoying. You have to use the timing number for each image...) I wanted to convert my old noteskins to the new sm5 format but, I lost them all... I think... I wonder if I backed them up on my thumb drive/hard drive... I doubt it though... If anything, I can always remake them again... heh... I miss the rotating isometric noteskin I had... I loved it...

Edit: Removed old post because I do not want the old noteskins anymore. I decided to just go with sm5 noteskin code since its much better/to the point. Anyway, I wanted to repost this because I made an epic noteskin for ITG fans. I based the note color on DDR however. Although, it's not really a big issue. If you want them the ITG colors, feel free to modify them yourself. Anyhow, here is a link to them. Note: They will only work in sm5.

Note: I want to mention that sadly, it does not exactly work right in reverse. (top/bottom caps are messed up.)

edit: Bah, I see what I did wrong... Seems I have to flip the topcap images... Now I understand what I did wrong... I will fix this tomorrow...

when will people ever listen to me and understand that in sm5 you dont need redir files because you can easily define redirects in the noteskin.lua, that's why it was added, to remove redirects and make lua coding easy so we wouldn't need 200+ images like in 3.9, in all my noteskins I have made giant notes explaining all this but no one ever reads them, urg

Er, I hope your not relating to my post... This noteskin comes DIRECTLY from default noteskin. If you have a problem with redir's, fix it in the default noteskin and post the changes. This one only has 2 redir files anyhow... Moving on...

I barely got any sleep last night so, I am not in the best of moods right now... I will fix the noteskin and post it real quick...

edit: On second though, I will fix it when I get back... I wanna change some stuff and I need some info first...

Unfortunately I think it's irrelevant. Read the comment section in the video I linked. He seems to be a banned member from Zenius-i-Vanisher forums and is (according to comments) not likely to upload and share his work due to grudges of some sort.
