Can there be a separate forum section/sub forum section for noteskins, themes, BGA, etc? I would actually like the forums a bit more organized/detailed/direct subjects/etc if you don't mind.

This is a pretty good idea. Noteskins and themes are important, but not important enough to have their own subforums.

On the topic of new subforums, I think there should also be a other music game subforum, since there is a good chance people who play stepmania play other rhythm games.

We get very little traffic as it is. I already find there to be too many sub forums and further splitting it seems pointless to me. Everything about noteskins and themes can fit inside the sticky.

Other music games can go in general or be posted on some other forum as it isn't related to smo. If we got too much traffic that it started to become difficult to find something on the forum then it would be worth expanding things, but for now there is at most 1 new thread a week.

He has a point. Making more subforums should be in response to more traffic. Else you'll have tons of subforums with a few topics which gets tedious. The organization does help, but that kind of approach is better suited for wiki style pages. I believe anyone is free to edit and add to the Stepmania Wiki run by Staiain which has categories and such. If you want to encourage an up-to-date place to get noteskins and themes with great organization you can also contribute there. Other than I think development of one's own themes/noteskins could have their own threads? Kind of how like Z-i-V does it. *shrugs*
