I'm pretty much Misterkister, a old "random mister" currently in a "mythical illusion". Been in SMO since April 16th, 2011. I used to support SMO back in that time before it shut down around June 2012.

I'm currently playing osu! and League of Legends at this point, although sometimes I play SM passively for mod courses (WHY series ftw) and when I'm bored.

However, it's nice to see this community coming back once again.

Hi there! I'm iggybuggydo, but you can call me Iggy. I'm 15, and began playing rhythm games back in 2008 when I discovered the existence of a game called DDR. I liked the idea of the game and tried playing it as DDR was intended to be played, on pad. After discovering how bad I was at pad, struggling to pass cutie chaser on easy, I began to use the controller to play the game, and found that to be a lot more attractive than the idea of having a stroke while playing on pad. In 2011, I discovered Stepmania, which actually encourages the use of my preffered style of play. Since then, I have played stepmania a lot. A few months ago, I found out about SMO, where I could play this game with other human beings. That idea of competing with other similarly skillful players to get the best scores on charts was shattered by the fact that everyone who still touches this game is WAY better than me. I would consider myself to be a under-average player compared to everyone else, getting a AA on Quasar(Hard) about 3 days ago. Additionally, there is always the fact that I have no friends that play this game, which isn't very surprising. Regardless, I will continue to play stepmania, probably for years to come, and have hopes that the site will stick around. If anyone wants to play online sometime, let me know and I'd be happy to do so. :D

Welcome iggy, I hope you have a great time on SMO!

Games like StepMania have a hell of a skill curve, and if you keep at it you'll significantly improve in no time. Just keep up the regular play (like an hour or two every couple days should be fine) and challenge yourself. One question, do you play cmod, or two handed? These are pretty integral steps to heightening your skill at this game.

Hi Everyone!
My name is Keita, I'm 14 years old, i started play Stepmania at 2011, i rarely play because i have lots of tasks, homeworks, exams, and etc.
I started play SMO at 2013-01-15 (thanks to my friend to introduce it to me) then i stop playing for 2 month.
I guess my skill is still far behind, but i will practice to make it better.
