So there's nothing really confirmed in the works for this I just wanted to post a thread to express interest and give my skype out for people who want to work with me on this.
My skype: waflesz
People I know who are possibly interested in helping: skwid
Will edit this post with more information as necessary, but I'll give a short and sweet description of what I want right to do right here:
1. I'm of the opinion that not enough awesome packs are being released. Since I've started playing in November a grand total of 2 fantastic packs have been released (to my knowledge; FFRCP4 and ODI3). The goal here would be to offer more to the community and provide more incentive for players to keep actively participating in the community.
2. The pack would take submissions from several locations, ideally. Not just the SMO forums. Reason this initial post is going here is because the idea came up in a room here and it made sense to start some organization here.
3. The pack would contain mostly difficult files, catered towards experienced players. NB packs are popular for this reason. I want stamina challenging files, short and difficult files, fast files, complex files, etc.
4. Being strict with the files we accept is important, but alienating stepfile authors is a bad idea. I think its a good idea to work with people on improving below average quality files so that they can be included. Leaving people out doesn't help.
Anyway, if you're interested in helping in any way shape or form feel free to add me on skype, and if your name isn't immediately recognizable please include your SMO name in the friend request message so I know who you are.
Letz make a pack
Re: Letz make a pack
There's always a pack in progress on ffr it seems like. Quite a few good ones in progress. (NB 5 for example)
First to get 1,000,000 xp.
R.I.P. first place.

Yeah, NB5 is hype but thats almost entirely a solo effort with some files here and there. And in my opinion the more the merrier.
Skwid has shown me 3 of his files and they look incredibly fun. Ko7a has also agreed to judge for the pack along with Skwid and myself.
