This guy with a japanese name created a room named Cn, and all the room titles below it just disappeared, dahell is going on

My best guess is that he had a character in there that acted as some kind of line break. Either on html or breaking the query.

I could have sworn we tested for this and made it impossible to embed html tags into the room names though.

I saw this happen a few times, (not sure if it was the same person,) but the name had a comma in between. Maybe that's what's causing it?

This is literally the only time I've seen this, I shouldve taken a peek at the page source to see what the issue was.

Might as well contribute to this, considering I just witnessed one hell of a mess up with the room lists:


I guess perhaps some characters available for usernames might break the page a bit? I think is the guy, notice how not all of the characters show up in the image though, as opposed to the profile info.

That seems to support the idea that the comma is the culprit. The coding might be using comma's as some kind of delimiter to split up text.

Comma isn't escaped in the name. Simple enough

This is a game bug I think.If someone creates a blank named room then the server automatically shows him in a random room.Thats what I think it happened in this case.

The room info is JSON which is comma seperated values. I will need to modify the server-side to escape comma's in names to fix this.
