Well... it is gone forever now unless someone got a screen shot. I just found it funny honestly, especially since they left names, an email, and a website (even though they probably are not the actual hacker's info)

Last night I tried to enter to the forum, but a sign of hackers appeared, fucking hackers, can someone explain what's the need to bring down the website of a free video game? these people needs a life. I hope gets fixed soon.

Most likely a random attack and not specifically targeted at stepmania.com. Pretty stupid either way. If you are going to do something like this then at least have a purpose.

I'd honestly be a bit concerned about the safety of this forum. I don't know why these attacks are taking place.

EDIT: nevermind. I looked at their facebook page. It seems like this hacker and the previous one are using vbulletin exploits to target vbulletin forums.
